EDCO Educational Services in Institutional Settings

EDCO/ESIS programs provide education and related services to adolescents residing at state-operated or state-funded institutions and community based residential programs across the Commonwealth. The programs are provided in cooperation with several state agencies--including the Massachusetts Departments of Education, Youth Services, Mental Health, Public Health, and County Houses of Correction.

Click here to view the DYS Westborough Secure Treatment's Millennium Project - a project based learning activity which was presented as an exemplary schoolwide project to educators attending the 24th Massachusetts Title 1 Conference. The project succeeded through the collaborative effort of educators from ESIS, DYS Statewide Educational Services, and DYS Title 1 programs.
