2000 Summer Projects Conference
Massachusetts Migrant Education Program (MMEP) heldthe 2000 Summer Projects Conference on Saturday, May 20, 2000 at the Wyndham Westborough Hotel. MMEP year round staff and about 250 educators and other summer staff personnel participated in the day-long conference.
| The keynote presentation by Derek Burrows was thought-provoking, as well as entertaining. Derek, who is a Bahamian-born storyteller, musician and educator, related tales and sang music from many cultures, gathered during his travels around the world. Derek's enthusiasm for celebrating diversity resonated within the hearts of each and every person in the audience. |  |
