THE EDCO-MANVILLE
PARTNERS PROGRAM
Program Highlights
|
• |
Student to staff ratio is approximately 3:1 |
|
• |
Staff members maintain consistent communication
with families via phone or e-mail |
|
• |
Individual Apple laptop computers are provided
for each student to use for writing assignments
and research related projects |
|
• |
Students are assisted in meeting home district
eligibility requirements for graduation and earn
diplomas from their home school districts. |
|
• |
Students participate in social skills and life
skills groups on a weekly basis as well as participate
in community trips to practice learned skills in
real life settings. |
|
• |
As determined on a case-by-case basis, students
have the opportunity to mainstream in one or more
Brookline High School class and/or club of their
choice. |
|
• |
An optional five-week summer program is offered
that focuses on transition planning, standardized
test preparation, social and life skills. |
|
• |
The Partners program offers an optional fifth
year component that involves supported college courses
and vocational opportunities to aid in the transition
from high school to adulthood. |
