Cyndy Taymore, Interim Executive Director

Cyndy Taymore has been appointed the Interim Executive Director of the EDCO Collaborative, as of November 1, 2020.

Ms. Taymore recently retired as Superintendent of the Melrose Public Schools. Prior to becoming a Superintendent, Ms. Taymore served in an array of administrative and teaching positions, including Assistant Superintendent, Director of Special Education, Asst. Director of Special Education for Secondary Education, Team Chair, Program Coordinator, and regular education teacher.

Having been a member of EDCO when she was an Assistant Superintendent, Ms. Taymore values the relationship between EDCO and its 16 member districts as well as the many non-member districts and educators to whom EDCO provides services.

In February 2020, EDCO Collaborative hired a consulting company, The Management Solution, to oversee their business office. The Board of Directors agreed to continue utilizing their services until June 30, 2022 to ensure consistency as it pertains to financial oversight.
